Founded in 1990, Federal Group provides services in low voltage automation and switchgear, natural gas meter, marble and manufacturing industry sectors. The activities carried out enabled the Federal brand to be registered as a ‘Recognised Brand’ in the world in 2008. All group companies established with 100% Turkish capital export 45-50% of their production to more than 50 countries. Founded in 1990, Federal Elektrik grew in a short time and took its place among the world's leading Low Voltage Switchgear manufacturers. 4000 products and 35.000 different parts are produced in our facilities established on an area of 25.000 m2 with one hundred per cent domestic capital. It has more than 400 employees.

2018 – Turkey’s 910th R&D Center was established.
2017 – Federal Academy was established.
2016 – In L.V. series, 4000 range of products was reached.
2015 – The number of countries we export to exceeded 50.
2014 – Istanbul Export Unit was established.
2011 – We reached 3250 types of products in our L.V. range.
2010 – Natural Gas Meter Type Test Laboratory was established.
2008 – Serial production of G4 type natural gas meter, designed in-house, started.
2008 – Federal Electric was recognized as a well-known brand globally.
2007 – 1100 people were employed throughout the group.
2006 – 95% of the L.V. series products were developed by the Federal R&D team.
2005 – Federal Group invested in sockets, electronic ballasts, automotive, and ornamental plants sectors.
2004 – “Federal Electric Egypt” factory started production in Egypt.
2002 – Istanbul Sales Office was opened.
1999 – Federal Electric started manufacturing in its second factory.
1999 – Internationally accredited L.V. short circuit laboratory was established.
1998 – Investment in marble quarry and factory was made.
1996 – Unigraphics 3D solid modeling began to be used in product design and mold manufacturing.
1996 – ERP software development was initiated by Federal’s IT department.
1995 – Recruitment through psychotechnical tests started.
1994 – Export operations began.
1994 – Federal Electric became the 70th institution in Turkey to receive ISO 9000 certification and earned a quality award in Belgium.
1992 – Mass manufacturing started.
1990 – First domestically designed compact type circuit breaker was produced.
1990 – Federal Electric Investment Trading Inc. was established.
